First and foremost... we ask that when or if we have you come into the Rabbitry that you use our hand sanitizer and not put fingers in cages due to bio security. We normally would have a closed rabbitry but we also enjoy people seeing our happy buns and our set up. We may start keeping closed doors again. Especially since we have our Rabbitry in a Temperature Controlled Environment. So the heat and AC are on when seasons change. Hope not to sound like a broken record. but... Buyer is responsible for transport. There are many transporters that I have seen anywhere in the range of 20 to 50 dollars per hole. There are many on Facebook if you search rabbit transport and I have posted a couple. (6/2018)Due to many issues with transporters we will only work with a couple unless otherwise stated during our transaction. Dusti Bunnies is number 1 I hope they will have some Availability and will be coming your way if I have rabbits available. We can also bring them to any show we are attending $5 per hole unless otherwise stated. We will hold a rabbit purchased free of board for 2 weeks after purchase if the rabbit is 8 weeks old. After the 2 weeks (by then rabbit is 10 weeks old) we will be charging $5 boarding per week. I will not let any go until they are on solids and drinking for at least a week to 2 weeks on their own. If the rabbit is older then the same goes for them. Free boarding 2 weeks after purchase while you line up transport If we have to hold it longer then it is $5 per week boarding. Includes all care. Should something happen between the time you place your deposit until they are ready I will do my best to replace it with one that is similar or give your deposit back. Which ever you prefer. If you back out the deposit is non refundable. If you for some unforeseen reason you can no longer keep your bunny I will gladly take it back but at no cost to me is I have room. I do not mind if they have to be returned and would rather know where they go before sending them somewhere they may not be cared for, or I will help post them out to get them a new home. If you have any questions shoot me a pm. I will do my best to answer them. Upon purchasing, you also agree to never release the rabbit into the wild. You agree to never leave a small child unattended with the rabbit, since rabbits are fragile and can easily be injured by rough handling. I reserve the right to cancel the at any time for any reason. If your rabbit becomes ill within 24 hours of purchase, I will take back the rabbit and replace with a similar rabbit, which may take up to 6 months. I am not responsible for any vet fees. Bloat can happen with stress or feed change. I suggest even to feed hay with little grain until you get them transitioned to your grain. If the rabbit has become ill due to neglect, abuse, heatstroke, mishandling, or something out of my control, I will not replace the rabbit. It is hard to guarantee health of a baby rabbit, as it is exposed to many things out of my control once it leaves my care. I encourage you to inspect the rabbit before taking it home. You may take your bunny to the vet within 72 hours at your own cost to have a physical health check if the vet finds something wrong I will take that rabbit back with proof from the vet what the findings are and I will replace the rabbit as soon as possible. But once you take one home it is hard to not fall in love with it and I would think you want to do whatever necessary to make sure it stays healthy. I usually sell my rabbits on a first come, first served basis and I will require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold a rabbit until it is ready to leave home. Once you have placed your deposit we will discuss pick up time and you will be responsible to set up any transport needed to get your bunny to you. Deposit will not be refunded if you cancel the sale. If I cancel the sale, I will refund the entire deposit unless you fall through with transport. I will NOT hold a rabbit without a deposit, but if not picked up in the designated time frame that you and I discuss I will then re sell that rabbit and you will lose your deposit. Please keep lines of communication open if you cannot pick up at the time we agreed on as soon as you can as I do not want to keep your rabbit and love seeing my bunnies go to great homes. I do not accept personal checks. I do have a paypal and will accept deposits using that because it is secure and informative, and or cash deposits. Anyone with a bank account and a debit or credit card can get a paypal account. It does take some time for paypal to verify your banking info so I would start one now. So many great easy purchases you can use with your paypal account. I ask that if you use paypal to put a deposit or pay for your rabbit in full that you use gift so there are no extra fees like taxes on both ends of the transaction. If you use a Credit Card for PayPal instead of your bank account you will have to pay an extra bank fee. If you do take one of my babies to show please keep me informed on their progress and winnings. Very exciting for a rabbitry to hear their line is doing well. Rabbits are often difficult to determine gender at a young age. I will do my absolute best to determine and I may make a mistake but have never had one turn up wrong in the 20 some years of sexing animals. Except chickens... I can't do chickens until they are old enough to crow. Insert smiley face here. I encourage you to check before taking the rabbit home with you. If I have made a mistake, I ask that you inform me as soon as possible, and I will do my best to make it right if you were wanting a specific sex.
Each bunny will come with a starter bag of feed for you to use to transition the bunny to the feed that you will be giving your rabbit. This is NOT a starter bag of food, but it is to be used as a transition food only. I have my rabbits now on a higher quality feed especially because I have nursing doe's. So please use the bag to transition when changing their pellets. I genuinely care very much about my rabbits. I do my best to sell them to the best homes possible. Repeat from earlier... Please contact me if you must give up your rabbit and I will do my best to re home it for you. If I have room I may be able to take the rabbit back, again, at no cost to me. I don’t want to see any of my rabbits neglected or in shelters or bought to be just food. If you ever have a problem with your rabbit, please contact me so I can help. By purchasing a rabbit from me, you agree to the above.
